Because the students who learn to speak with clarity, confidence, and conviction don't just do well in school — they lead in life.
Let's Be Honest
More than heights. More than flying. More than spiders. And if we never address it, our children carry that fear into college, careers, leadership, and life. But here's the truth — it is a skill. And skills can be learned.
Two Powerful Classes
This is not just "standing up and talking." Your student will learn the craft of communication — structure, presence, delivery, and how to connect with any audience with confidence and grace.
Debate is not arguing. It is the discipline of thinking clearly, researching deeply, and persuading powerfully. Your teen is at the rhetoric stage — this is exactly the right time to sharpen that edge.
Why It Matters
The way your child speaks will open or close doors for the rest of their life. These classes give them tools they'll use every single decade.
The student who can articulate their story, values, and goals with clarity stands out in every room — including admissions offices.
Every job interview, team meeting, presentation, and leadership role rewards those who communicate well. This is the skill behind the skill.
Whether speaking at church, leading a small group, or serving their community, your child will have the voice to step forward — not shrink back.
In a world of noise and competing ideas, your teen will know how to stand firm, speak truth, and engage with grace and evidence — not just emotion.
Clear, confident communication transforms friendships, dating, marriage, and parenting. The way we speak shapes every relationship we have.
Debate teaches students to evaluate sources, question assumptions, and think before they speak — a rare and powerful skill in any generation.
The Rhetoric Stage
In the classical education model, the teenage years are the Rhetoric Stage — the developmental window when young people are primed to learn how to argue, persuade, and communicate with sophistication.
These classes meet your student exactly where they are and give them language, structure, and practice to level up their voice — for every stage of life ahead.
"Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person."Colossians 4:6

B.A. · M.Ed. · Ed.S.
Inga Masek is not someone who just talks about communication — she lives it. With nearly 30 years in education (and a few more if you count a lifetime of doing it), Inga brings a rare depth of experience, warmth, and conviction to every class she teaches.
A former classroom teacher and school principal, Inga currently serves as Director/Principal of Level Up Indian Land — a separate homeschool co-op campus. These speech and public speaking classes are offered through Level Up Tutorials in Weddington, held at Spirit of Joy Church. Inga holds a Bachelor's in Special Education, a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. She has been a homeschool mom since 2013, raising four children she's been teaching to speak boldly and confidently from day one.
Inga is also the founder of Breathable Homeschool — built around one idea: you should be able to exhale. Not just on good days. On all of them. Because breathable IS how it's supposed to feel.
As the host of the podcast Catch Your Breath, she is a sought-after speaker and facilitator who leads workshops and sessions regularly. She doesn't just teach communication — she lives it.
In her speech and public speaking classes, Inga is known for making lessons engaging, meeting students exactly where they are, and helping them discover that the voice they've been afraid to use is actually their greatest asset. Parents consistently notice the change — not just in how their students speak, but in how they carry themselves.
"I believe every student has something worth saying. My job is to help them say it well."
